On-site oxygen and nitrogen find extensive application in the mining industry.

Nitrogen is used successfully in many countries for both fighting underground fires and for fire and explosion prevention particulary in coal mines. Oxygen is used for significantly improving gold and silver recovery rates by sparging 94-95% oxygen through the process concentrates. Apart from increasing metallurgical extraction efficiencies, the use of oxygen in gold refining also reduces the amounts of cyanide required which in turn reduces water purification costs.

Gas At Site offers containerized gas generation systems for use out-side the mine shaft or skid-mounted applications for underground. Certification to meet mining requirements is arranged according to the country of operation.
